26th May – 1st June: Still banned! – poor weather – low tides!

Although the stitches came out on 26th the nurse was not happy that they had only been in place a week, bound the wound with steri-strips, and warned me not to take care of it for another week. Frustrating, but apart from a few fine days the weather has remained unsettled and cold so I’m not missing that much! The 18 year tidal cycle has been resulting in some very neap neaps recently. The photo above shows high tide on the 27th May – it was about one foot below the Seafly hard standing; hardly enough water for Seatern to motor out.
