Thursday Afternoon 30th June 2016

The aim of the afternoon race was to reach the cream teas at the Pandora Inn, near Restronguet Point. During the lunch stop at St Just the weather had worsened. It was a relatively quick sail until, sheltered in Restronguet Creek, the wind was lost and oars were needed.   At the Pandora, fearing rain, they had laid out the upstairs room for our use, although a few participants managed to shelter under the parasols on the landing stage.  Then, fully ballasted with scones and cream, all the participants made their one way back to Mylor Yacht Harbour.
