March 11/12: More high High Tides

Continued unsettled weather coupled with high spring tides has resulted in Environment Agency flood alerts on both the 11th and 12th March. On the 11th they predicted 5.20m and 5.15m on the 12th. In both cases the Docks tide gauge on Sotonmet registered similar values to those predicted. However it is still reading low compared to the Woolston gauge and at St Denys the level was about 5.3m on both days.
