27th May: Parade of Sail
As part of Southampton Sailing Week there was supposed to be a “Parade of Sail” from the River Itchen along Southampton Water to the Hamble. I watched from Weston Shore, but, although the organisers said there were many participants, from the shore it looked as if hardly anyone took part! The weather was poor too.
