23rd June 09-11 SP Engineer was supposed to be fitting joystick but he did not turn up.  Joystick was delivered by Kate that afternoon
24th June 698 15-18 SP 273 called at Calshot to replenish the 2nd hand books at SP
25th June 07-08 SP went to SP before watches to try to get joystick working but still no joy! Huge queues of cars to Exbury for the 10K race
29th June 09-11 SP met Moore’s engineer Luke to try to get joystick working but no success, Hovercraft doing trials off Lepe
30th June 699 12-15 SP 455 Double watch. First was quiet. During second a kite surfer broke his leg and I waded into shallow water to help him ashore!
