5th Aug: Cowes Week

The first course mark for a whole range of larger classes on Tuesday 5th August was the yellow buoy “Cowes Weeek 2026” off the Beaulieu River entrance.  These included IRC 6, Contessa 32, IRC 7, Performance Cruiser B, Club Cruiser C, and Club Cruiser D.  Starting later, the smaller yacht classes used Lepe Spit as the first mark. These were Sportsboat, Etchells, Daring, Dragon, Sonar, Flying 15, Redwing, Solent Sunbeam, Seaview Mermaid, Victory, and XOD classes.  I have identified them where I can.
