Cowes Day 2: IRC classes pass Lepe
The weather on Sunday 31st July, the second day of the 2022 Cowes Week regatta, was windy but also misty with dampness in the air. The combination of grey weather, a long telephoto lens, and predominantly black or dark sails resulted in some grainy images!
I took photos of yachts in the IRC classes passing Lepe as they beat westwards and some of them returning with spinnakers set. I also photographed the Cape 31 yachts returning eastwards. Here are photos of the IRC classes.
