26th Feb: D-Day remains exposed

I had to go to Stone Point due to a report of equipment failure which turned out to be a false alarm so I went for a walk to the eastern end of the Country Park.  There had been strong easterly winds recently, particularly on the 18th February, and the beach level at the Lepe D-Day remains was much lower than I had seen it before.  More structures were exposed along the beach including whole pavements of beach hardening mats.
