4th July: X One Design racing

I was on watch at NCI Stone Point when a fleet of XOD’s came past the station tacking against both current and wind.  They went quite a way into the Beaulieu River estuary, where they would have picked up a favourable current, before cutting across the Gull Island spit back into the Solent.  Here’s some photos (click to enlarge)…
