5th August: Cowes Week starts

Cowes Week started on the 4th so on the 5th I took my longest telephoto lens with me for the 12 – 16 hrs watch in Calshot Tower. Most of the racing appeared to be nearer Ryde than Cowes but here are some photos plus  some other boats “snapped” from the Tower.

If you look carefully there was even a square-rigger amongst them all – probably Tenacious.
