10th December: Sea Smoke on the river

We are going through a period of cold anticyclonic weather with sunny days and cold nights, sometimes going down to -5°C. On Saturday 10th December the cold air moving over the relatively warm river water resulted a display of sea smoke lasting into the morning, these photos were taken about 0930 gmt.  The same day there was some spectacular hoar frost as I drove out to Lepe for Coastwatch duty.
