13th August: Car Damage

I left the house to drive out to Lepe Country park for Coastwatch duty only to find that someone had run into my car! There was no mechanical damage but the body work was down to bare metal so it needed repairing. I had it done at Stricklands Body Repairs in Chapel Road (although the entry is round the back). Friendly service and repaired “as new” but at a price – although not enough to bother claiming on the insurance.
