Raid: Monday am – to Restronguet

On the first day, Monday 9th July, we were booked in at the Pandora Inn in Restronguet Creek for sandwiches and cream teas at 1430 so that determined the programme for the day. The morning saw a “race around the cans”. The start was between the orange safety rib and the Mylor entrance starboard buoy. Hence to Mesack (left to starboard), Northbank (port), Castle (port), St Just (port) and Carrick (port), with the finish between the orange rib and the flagpole to the south of the Restronguet entrance.

The wind was light, the sky was cloud free, and it was HOT!
