27th November: Palais des Vaches

Went with Zoe and Wendy to the Palais des Vaches. Finally got to talk with Nicholas de Rothschild about Lower Exbury. It does sound like there was a much larger medieval settlement there which may have gone into decay, or disappeared after a French raid. However I’m still doubtful about the dates for the latter!
