Botanic Gardens
I think that photographs from the trip depict two Botanic Gardens. One is the collection of cacti at the Huntington Library situated a few blocks from the Huntington-Sheraton Hotel, and the other is the California Botanic Garden (formerly the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden) near where my friends lived in Claremont. However it is possible I’m wrong in my attribution of the photos!
