15 Watch (08-11) with 390; New Years Day!
3rd Jan
16 Watch (11-14) with 440,160; wet and windy, then clearance, had assessment sheets approved, CG from NMOC visited
8th Jan
17 Watch (11-14) with 590; uneventful apart from a container ship without any containers!  
21st Jan
18 Watch (11-14) booked with 550, 490, ended up 120 and 490!

19 Watch (14-17) 170 and 520; rain, Hythe bypass flooded

3rd watch Keeper training session at Scout Hut, Dibden Purlieu (0915 – 1230)
5th Feb
20 Watch (11-14) 130; incident, kite surfer lost board near Calshot Spit light-float with car carrier approaching
6th Feb
21 Watch (14-17) 520, 330, 730; 730 and I qualified as Watch Keepers
20th Feb
22 Watch (11-14) 720, 280 windy SK2 canting keel sail boat capsized twice with asym set but were fully in control
27th Feb
23 Watch (11-14) 720; cold but sunny, J/24 (?) class racing

24 Watch (14-17) 150; acted as watch leader for first time, no incidents but watched lone kayak cross from Calshot to Hamble

25 Watch (11-14) 360,110; first time with 110!

26 Watch (12-16) 440, 560; 560 doing training while I watched – no incidents

27 Watch (12-16) 640, 360; storm ‘Katie’ came through previous night with surge – castle moat full! Talked to CAC person in ticket office re English Heritage web site and life saving gear

28 Watch (12-16) 690, 560; 690 was on Itchen Marine tugs and knows Rich

30 Watch (12-16) GC, 560; a Swallow Yachts BRe (no.38) launched from Calshot, also a 18 foot skiff, …and a gaff rigged Mirror

32 Watch (12-16) 620 & 720; the Swallow Yachts BRe was out again and in a better wind
